Zero Defects is the Goal
When you order 5,000 pens, finding 50 bad ones might seem statistically acceptable (1%), but to us, that's 50 unhappy recipients. Our Quality Control (QC) process is rigorous.
Our 5-Point QC Protocol
- Raw Material Inspection: Before production starts, we check the ink flow of refills, the grain of the leather, and the coating of the metal bodies.
- First Article Inspection: We produce one unit and compare it strictly against the digital proof you approved. We check logo size, position, and color (Pantone matching).
- In-Process QC: Roving inspectors check items coming off the line every hour to catch machine drift early.
- 100% Visual Inspection: Every single item is manually inspected before packing. We look for scratches, glue marks, or misaligned prints.
- Pre-Shipment Random Check: A final statistical check (AQL standard) is performed on the packed boxes.
Common Defects We Catch
- Ghosting: Double printing caused by the item moving during printing.
- Dry Refills: Pens that skip when writing.
- Deboss Depth: Logos that are too shallow and undefined.
Why It Matters
Your brand is on these items. A low-quality gift reflects poorly on your company. We act as your gatekeeper.
This rigorous process is especially crucial when dealing with Urgent Corporate Events where there is no time for replacements.
